Year 6 Visit to Alderfield House
As part of the PSHE and Citizenship curriculum, the Year 6 class visited Alderfield House which is part of the Irwell Valley Housing Association. Alderfield House provides sheltered accommodation and retirement accommodation for elderly members of the community. The purpose of the visit was that our pupils could meet some of the residents in the communal area and interact with them through talking to them about their families, life experiences and playing board games.
